Bank Holiday

Despite the bad weather yesterday, which included hail, the afternoon turned out to be quite pleasant. We went to Tynemouth and walked along the beach. It was 12 degrees C and quite windy. The waves were fantastic. Walking along the pier meant running the gaunlet of splashing sea water. We did OK on the way out but got a proper soaking on the way back. I tried to catch the waves breaking over the wall. My camera is slow to react and I'm just a bit unlucky. This is the best that I did.

I was down the coast yesterday too!! It was very windy- my hair was blowing in my ice cream. They had closed the pier by 5ish because it was so bad on there.
That's a lovely photo.
