After a long time of avoiding cable projects through some misapprehension that it would be difficult, I finally decided to have a go. I started knitting a cable cardigan from the Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino book 3 weeks ago and I finished it off this evening.
It will soon be winging it's was to Graeme's niece Isla, in Surrey. I hope she likes it. I'm not really sure what the fashion concious babies are wearing this season.
I have been very strict with myself and haven't allowed myself to start anything new while I've been doing this. I decided 2 active projects at a time is enough. Though I suppose the sock has been somewhat neglected since I didn't bother to take it to Leicester last week. Anyway, I'm now allowed to start something new, which is always fun. I do have a bit of a queue of projects waiting to go. The first being a little bag to go with my outfit for my cousin's wedding in two weeks time. I think I might crochet it for a change. Shouldn't take too long anyway.
Tomorrow I have my job interview at the British Geological Survey. Wish me luck...
